Nutella and Freya doing a great job pulling our new sled out to the golf course. There we hooked up individual dogs that hadn't been in harness before, to pull the empty sled. Everyone did fantastic!
Winter beauty
I love hikes in winter! Added bonus is that the dogs come home clean, and the car stays cleaner than other seasons. I took some pictures today, and love this one. Freya stopped to look back at me. The lighting was wonderful!
Snowshoes
I wish I had brought my camera today! I went snowshoeing with all the new snow we got. About half way through the hike, I wondered where all the dogs were. I looked behind me, and there was a single file line of dogs, making use of the snowshoe tracks. The only dog out in front was Nikki, the thirteen year old husky! LOVE the snow!

Today we had a marvellous time playing in the snow. The dogs got to hike with Phoenix. Thanks to Marylyn for driving the dogs to the trail, while I rode there on Phoenix. They all love it!
New Faces
It has been awhile since I've updated this blog, so there have been new faces added to our dog hiking group. Yuki is a golden doodle. Bella is a muskadoodle rescue. We welcome them both.
Yuki loves to find the muddiest puddle to lie in!
Bella has tons of energy and enthusiasm!
